Essays presented at the proceedings of the Montreal Conference on Moses Maimonides held in October 1985. The collection of essays, in both English and French, seeks to define Maimonides as a seminal figure in Medieval Judaism. Most of the essays address the topic of the Idea of Human Perfection in Maimonides.
